The Golden Crab
ALL Fund

The survival rates for childhood leukemia in the West are as high as 90%.
Our Children Deserve No Less
Cankids’ Awareness, Advocacy, & Patient Support Project was launched in 2016/17 with the aim to raise awareness, increase research and improve survival outcomes for children with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL).
Come support the Golden Crab CanKids ALL Fund to ensure best possible treatment and a better quality of life for these young patients and their families.
Four Parents of children with ALL- Sajid Shapoo, Rabani Garg, Sonal Sharma, Dr. Manish Agarwal and two of our ALL ambassadors- Shubhangi, Krishang Raghuvanshi and Aditya Sharma, have joined forces with ALL treating doctors in India and overseas to spearhead the project. Join them as well as our survivors to support the Golden Crab Fund CanKids ALL Fund

“Heroes come in all sizes.  We know because we have one”
“Our daughter Myrrah was diagnosed with a rare form of ALL in 2012 which brought us to Columbia University Medical Institute, NYC, where targeted gene therapy, precision medicine and a bone marrow transplant saved her life,” says Sajid Shapoo

Myrrah’s Journey
The MRD Intervention:  Driving Survival Outcomes For Leukemia, Powered By YOU
Medical and technological advancements have led to a tremendous improvement in the cure of ALL in the West.
Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) detection is one such breakthrough.

“MRD analysis every step of the way was vital in saving Myrrah's life .”

In India, MRD assay is only available at a small number of labs and hospitals because of the specialised experience required to do it accurately and at affordable costs

Launched by Cankids in 2016,  the MRD intervention facilitates MRD Analysis without any charge, for any child suffering from ALL where the treating physician feels this will assist in optimal treatment or treatment modification.
