Get Involved With Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (CCAM). A time to acknowledge the thousands of children and their families who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis, raise awareness and funds and advocacy for childhood cancer.
The world turns Gold every September because Gold is the color for Childhood Cancer. Gold because our children are precious and priceless.

Objectives of CCAM:
  • Creating Awareness about reducing Childhood Cancer.
  • Advocate to policy makers that childhood cancer should be a child and healthy priority in India
  • Raising the fund to support the children and their families.
  • Honour the bravery and courage of Children with Cancer and their families

Add Your Voice #WhoIsAtTheTable

This September, our team of childhood cancer survivors from across India will request the Health Minister to make Childhood Cancer a Child and Health Priority. We want a National Childhood Cancer plan and policy. India does not have one – yet more than 25% of the world’s childhood cancer is in India. In the War we all must fight against Cancer – at 90% survivals – childhood cancer is the low hanging fruit!

We are collecting 3 lakh pledges to make a strong case. We have the WHO, Treating Hospitals and leading Doctors, State Governments, Parents, Patients and survivors as well as other stakeholders of the childhood cancer community in India and International, already at the table.
