World Cancer Day and International Childhood Cancer Day 2022
The theme was "Close The Care Gap". Children from our care centres wrote 2,367 letters to their local MPs asking them to maker childhood cancer a health priority in India.

Letters to Prime Minister
Children with cancer from over 55 hospitals sent 2,123 letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to announce a National Childhood Cancer Plan for India.

I Deserve - Best Treatment, Support, and Care
2,123 children from 55 hospitals across India participated in a competition to highlight the need for #Access2Care for all children with cancer from low-income group families.

iPledge
Childhood cancer survivors, under the aegis of KidsCan Konnect, collect 3,00,000 pledges asking for a National Childhood Cancer Plan from people of all walks of life. ​

Letter to my MP

On the occasion of World Cancer Day and International Childhood Cancer Day, children from 74 CanKids care centres wrote 2,367 letters to Members of Parliament to make childhood cancer a priority.​
IMPACT: Jammu & Kashmir MP Justice Hasnain Masoodi is the first to express support by raising the issue in Parliament!

iPledge

In 2021, CanKids collected 3,00,000 pledges in support of a National Plan for Childhood Cancer. Among the pledge takers were doctors, secretary-level government officials, security forces, business owners, and citizens from different walks of life. People raised their voices for children with cancer, asking the Prime Minister and Health Minister to take action!

Access2Care Car Rally

A unique, state-wide adventure and community mobilisation event to raise awareness about childhood cancer care.

Each year, rallyists drive hundreds of kilometers in one state, engaging with and providing resources to people in villages, towns, hospitals, schools and more.


​CanKids has previously held car rallies in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Delhi/NCR.
