The Cankids Path Pradarshak Parivarik Sahayak Group (P3SG) is a group formed by the parents and the family members of the children with cancer for strengthening the battle against cancer by the unification of the families. The parents of survivor and the bereaved parents are encouraged to join this group by taking its membership.
The word ‘Cancer’ is so scary that the patient and his/her family lose their ability to understand what is actually happening, which adversely affects the treatment of the patient along with other aspects of life. In this state of mind, the patient and the family require a high degree of care and support. The P3SG member and the Patient Navigator play the vital role in the execution of YANA as they are the best people to have the knowledge which they learnt by their own experience and also are the role model for the inspiration to the patient and the family to ensure and console them by the fact that Childhood Cancer is Curable if detected in time and treated properly.
P3SG has three types of members: Regular Members: These members serve the organization as a Patient Navigator in a full time or part time basis after the completion of an exclusive training of six months period and earns either salary or stipend. Periodic Members: Periodic members serve the organization occasionally when they feel or are called to help in a specific occasion. They are paid their reimbursement of transportation or others. Awaz Members: Awaz members are considered as social workers and are expected to advocate and spread the awareness in their local places and society regarding the Childhood Cancer.
The Cankids Path Pradarshak Parivarik Sahayak Group Pledge "We Promise that, We will Support Each Other truthfully in this Journey of Sorrow Pain and Life Challenge. We will hold hands of each and every parent whose Child is fighting Cancer. We will motivate everyday many other parents to hold hands, support each and carry as P3SG.
