PHOSSCON 2019

On behalf of PHOSSCON Standing Committee- JivDaya Foundation, HOPE Foundation, Umeedien and Cankids, We thank all the NGOs and delegates for making PHOSSCON 2019 a success.

This year we had 75 delegates from 28 NGOs across the country. 
The conference had the following sessions- 

Session I - Direct Social Support
Session II - Stakeholder Engagement and Inauguration
​Session III - Improving collaboration of government, treating centres and its social support teams
​Session IV - Improving Survival Outcomes for ALL in India and how Social support organizations can contribute/collaborate.

Pediatric Oncology Social Support Services Conference ( PHOSSCON 2019 ) was held at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh this year in parallel with 23rd Annual Pediatric Hematology Oncology Conference ( PHOCON 2019 ).  PHOSSCON is a parallel track started in 2016 after discussion between the PHO Secretary (Dr. Brijesh Arora) and Cankids, akin to SIOP (International Society of Pediatric Oncology) and Childhood Cancer International on an international level.
