Ms Poonam Bagai is founder member of Cankids Society set up in 2012. She is the Founder of Cankids, originally a Unit of Indian Cancer Society Delhi Branch in 2004. Poonam graduated with a B.A Hons in Economics from St. Stephens College, Delhi University in 1983 and was a University Rank Holder. She joined the Government of India as a Class 1 Officer in the Indian Railway Account Services in 1984, worked in PSU- CONCOR and a transport consultant with the United Naons - ESCAP. Mukul Marwah
VICE CHAIRMAN
Mukul Marwah joined the founding Board of CanKids KidsCan as Vice Chairman in June, 2012. He has been associated with CanKids since its inception as a unit of Indian Cancer Society as an Advisor for Administration, HR and Strategic Planning and is currently also the director of CanKids Western region team. Mukul studied MA in English Literature from the University of Ajmer. He has been a National Level Table tennis champion in junior league and has an abiding interest in books, literature and music.
Mukul was a Class 1 officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service of 1982 batch and served in the Government for over 31 years holding various charges including Chief PRO Central Railway, CPTM on the Western Railway.
Sonal Sharma

Sonal Sharma is the co-founder of Cankids and has been actively involved in every aspect of the growth and expansion of the Cankids since inception. Today, she serves as Director - Parents and Survivor groups as well as Capacity Building in a completely Honorary capacity.
Sonal did her schooling from St Mary's Convent and went to Sophia College from where she completed her BA Honors in English. She has an abiding interest in travel, exploring new places and reading.
In October 1998 her daughter was diagnosed with Blood Cancer (ALL) and was treated at AIIMS, New Delhi where her treatment was completed in 2000. This journey led to a resolve of Ms. Sonal and her husband to dedicate themselves to the cause of helping children with cancer and their families.
Percival (Percy) Billimoria
TREASURER
Percival (Percy) Billimoria is a counsel, representing clients before the High Court, Supreme Court and the Company Tribunals in commercial disputes, including international companies and investors doing business in India. He is also a Chartered accountant by Qualification. Previously, he was the Delhi head and Chair - Litigation at Cyril Amarchand Magaldas and prior to that, Senior Partner, Chair Litigation at AZB & Partners.
Dr. Amita Mahajan

Dr. Amita Mahajan - MD, MRCP, CCST- is a Sr. Consultant Pediatric Hematology& Oncology. She received her undergraduate and post graduate training at AIIMS, New Delhi and has been awarded the GOLD Medal for being the best PG in Pediatrics.
Dr Mahajan trained and worked in the UK for over 9 years and did a Fellowship in BMT at Royal Hospital for Sick Children. Subsequently, Dr. Mahajan joined Indraprastha Apollo Hospital and set up the Pediatric Oncology Hematology and Oncology services.
Dr Mahajan joined the founding Board of Cankids KidsCan in June 2012. She has also been a past secretary of CanKids.
Srinath Mukherji

Srinath Mukherji is the Treasurer of CanKids and has been on the board since Sept 2015. Associated as a volunteer since 2014 Srinath is committed to using Information Technology to improve effectiveness and productivity within Cankids.
Srinath is a B. Tech (IIT Kanpur), PGDM (IIM Ahmedabad) & CPIM (APICS). His interests includes music and reading.
Srinath is an entrepreneur, investor and advisor with over 30 years of experience in the fields of Microfinance, Housing finance, Business Intelligence & Enterprise Collaboration. Srinath has a illustrious track record of having worked with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), Arthur Little, Stern Stewart, Gartner Consulting and Deloitte Consulting in India, USA and Singapore
Priti Dhall

Priti Dhall got involved with Cankids as a volunteer in Delhi in December 2006- helping with Back Office, events and strategic Planning. Priti moved to Mumbai in June 2008 for her father's cancer treatment and has also served as Director NOP and Regional Director Mumbai(Hony). She joined the founding Board of Cankids KidsCan in Jun, 2012 as the Joint Secretary.
Priti Dhall is an Engineering Graduate from Mumbai University and is interested in travel and social work.
A former software professional, Priti has over 15 years of Project Management experience in India with Sapient Corporation & Genuity in USA as well as TCS in India.
Sonia Sekhri

Sonia Sekhri has been involved with CanKids since 2008 as a donor and volunteer. Sonia has been actively involved in the development of the Palliative Care Program at Cankids, and the development of the Pediatric Palliative Day Care and Transition Home at Gautam Nagar, New Delhi.
Sonia studied at Convent of Jesus and Mary in New Delhi and graduated from Polytechnic Institute in New Delhi with a diploma in fashion design in 1984. In 2003 her son Kabir was diagnosed with cancer. He was treated at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute in Delhi and later in the USA. Unfortunately, he succumbed to the disease in 2007. This resulted in a resolve to help other children with cancer.

Rabani Garg

Rabani Garg joined Cankids KidsCan Society as a Board Member in September 2017.
Rabani is an educator with over 15 years of experience of working in schools, communities and libraries in India. She is currently pursuing doctoral work in education at the University of Pennsylvania, US. Her work focusses on young learners literacy practice and informal education.
Rabani is committed to improving psychosocial care for young cancer patients during / post treatment. She currently lives and works between New Delhi and Philadelphia.
Sandip Jariwala

Sandip Jariwala is the founder of Relief From Cancer, a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit in the USA, which provides support to cancer patients and their families through partner NGOs in India.
Sandip is a graduate of Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA with a degree in Business Marketing. He is passionate about making an impact in the social services sector and loves playing golf.
Sandip has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry including 5 years in hotel communications technology.
