Our aim is to identify and perceive the needs of a child undergoing cancer treatment, and to improve the health status through several interventions.

  1. Nutrition management services, like assessment, diet counselling, and supplementation to children and survivors, providing food and ration to families in need, and providing dieticians at our cancer treating centres.
  2. Hygiene and infection control services through educating children, parents, and survivors about Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), providing COVID protection kits, and providing equipment to hospitals.
  3. Blood support services, through blood donation camps, donor registries, and delivering blood products to children in need.
  4. Holistic Accommodation services, through CanKids' Home-Away-from-Home units.
  5. Patient transport services to and from hospitals and home, both within cities and across state borders.
Preventive
Hygiene and Infection Control: Implementing WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) components in hospitals and wards, inculcating good hygiene practices, and providing  hygiene products.

CanSurvive

Through our CanSurvive project, we provide nutritional and hygiene services free of cost to children with cancer and their families. There are three main interventions under it:
  1. CanNourish Kit: Mitigating the risk of malnourishment during the course of treatment.
  2. CanNourish Family Kit: Monthly ration for families with little to no income sources after  moving cities for treatment.
  3. CanCovid Kit: Resources and hygiene habits to control and reduce infections for immunocompromised children.
