The CanKids National Childhood Cancer Excellence Awards were instituted to recognize the indomitable courage and bravery of children who have faced cancer or are still fighting the disease. They also advocate the “Right to Education” for children with cancer during and after treatment. 2023 marks the 15th year of the awards.

All qualifying Applicants get a Medal & Certificate Of Recognition. 

In Addition,

To recognize those who have excelled in academics, there are Excellence Awards at National And Regional Levels
where the ‘winners’ get a trophy and certificate along with a cash prize.

National Awards - Certificate + Trophy + Rs. 5000/-
 Regional Awards - Certificate + Trophy + Rs. 3000/-

Eligibility

Any Indian under 30 years of age who has survived childhood cancer or
under 21 years who is currently battling with cancer can apply.

Categories

​Academic Excellence Award:
If you have scored 85% or higher in 2022-23 of your school/college annual exams.
 
Creative Excellence Award:
If you have talent in the areas of art, drawing, sketching, photography, dance, singing please share any certificate or evidence via email or post.
 
Sports Excellence Award:
If you have achieved any certificate or award in 2022-23 in sports such as badminton, cricket, basketball, tennis, chess or any other indoor/outdoor games.
 
Science & Technology Award:
If you have achieved any certificate or awards in 2022-23 in science or technology in school or college competitions.
 
KidsCanKonnect Award:
​If you are part of the KCK group of CanKids, then apply under the KCK category.
